After an amazing hike up to Lake 22 in Lake Stevens, WA we were ready for a hearty dinner. Google to the rescue with a quick query – “dinner”. Quickly our eyes focused on a new place to explore, Brat From Deutschland, 8 miles away. The place is located easily accessible off the main road and is in a small shopping center. You can’t miss it, just look for the big sign “Brats and Beer”. The place is small with a warm friendly atmosphere and even has a small beer garden. We ordered a Schnitzel and a Bavarian Wheat to top of a beautiful day. The food was yummy and the beer was very refreshing. Before leaving we had to grab a Apfelstreusel for a snack at home. The owners added extra Bavarian cream and were so sweet to even give us some of the homemade Pflaumenkuchen. As suggested we warmed up the Streusel and it was delicious. The Pflaumenkuchen was just as tasty and the plums had such a wonderful flavor. If you are any where close to this place make sure to stop by and say hi. These people are very nice. We will visit again and hope to try the Jaegerschnitzel next time.
