On Friday August 30th, we’ll be conducting a traditional Kolsch service in our wonderful German Village. We’ll be serving stange of Archer, our beloved Kolsch style ale, alongside some of our favorite local kolsch style ales. We will have two seatings, 6PM & 8PM.
What is traditional kolsch service, you ask? Great question.
Guests will be seated in The German Village and given a coaster with their name on it. A server will then come around with a Kranz, a traditional kolsch carrying tray, filled with glasses of kolsch, aka Stange (traditional Kolsch glass). If a person has no stange or an empty stange in front of them, they will receive a fresh stange of kolsch. The server will make a mark on their coaster, noting the order of one kolsch.
This continues until a guest wishes to no longer drink kolsch (who would do that?). A guest wishing to end their kolsch service simply places their coaster over an empty stange and a server will come to cash them out and give them a fresh stange to take home (while supplies last).
Please make sure you’re selecting your desired time when purchasing tickets. Tickets will not be transferrable between seatings.
Tickets will be $11 + tax on the day of the event so purchase your ahead of time at a discounted price!
