Classes at the 1909 Culinary Academy combine a hands-on cooking experience with delicious tasting experiences.
We are bringing this sensational culinary theme back to the 1909 Kitchen.
We’ll start off the evening making a tangy Sauerkraut soup. Then we’ll turn our attention toward a traditional beef Rouladen (sometimes known as Rinderroulade) filled with mustard, bacon, pickles, and more. While that dish simmers away in the oven we’ll braise locally grown red cabbage and flavour it with a balance of vinegar, sugar, salt and seasonings.
Our evening culminates as we sit down together to enjoy the meal that has been prepared.
The 1909 Culinary Academy is licenced, with a drink list of beer, wine, and cocktails available throughout your event.
Sometimes we have leftovers, so please bring your own reusable containers to help us reduce the use of single use plastics.
