German beers seem the most friendly to pair with food and have you ever noticed how crushable most German beers are? With very few options for good German food in central Ohio, chef James Anderson is very excited to bring his German roots to the supper club.
Chef James earned his chops in the kitchen from age 16-21 in a German restaurant earning his way through the kitchen ranks. He learned a lot of fundamental German techniques and recipes during that early time of his career. The love of German food, beer and culture has stuck with him some 20 something years later. Expect some classics [but with a twist] like Schnitzel a la holstein, smoked saurbraten, various wursts, laberkase and of course his potato cakes, potato salad, red cabbage and kraut. With a crystal ball, lets for-see the night to include pairing a delightful smoked mackerel pate’ with a smoked helles lager or what about mashing up cajun influence to german culture by making a krabbensuppe gumbo with red hot speatzle paired with oktoberfest bier. But wait, have you ever had Rothaus Pils? OMG its worth the price of admission. Join us for an upscale but comfortable night celebrating 7 courses of German Beer along side German dishes. Tschuss
