Get into the holiday spirit at the “Weihnachtsmarkt,” a cozy German Christmas festival featuring authentic food, drinks, gifts, and decorations for sale. Visit the array of stalls full of gifts and decorations, including handcrafted German Advent wreaths. Taste traditional German food and beverages, home-baked cakes, and pastries. Sample Renate’s legendary “Glühwein,” a warm, spiced drink popular with adults during the holidays in Germany. Jolly St. Nicolas will appear with a sack full of treats for the kids. Sing along with students from the German language program at Sunset Elementary School as they perform traditional German Christmas carols.
