The German International School of Silicon Valley cordially invites you to join us in December at our annual German Holiday Market where you will find a jovial atmosphere of a traditional open-air, European winter market located in the heart of Silicon Valley. Shop for unique, handcrafted gifts from Germany and local artisans: Wood ornaments and nutcrackers from Germany, Lebkuchen (gingerbread), Stollen, chocolate, toys, ceramics, and knitwear. Taste traditional German sausages and candied almonds while warming up with a mug of Glühwein (warm mulled wine), the hallmark of these winter markets. The German Holiday Market offers plenty of activities for the entire family, including live performances and arts and crafts.
We are pleased to announce admission to the event this year is free, there are no tickets and no vaccination record checks. Masks are encouraged but not required.
Take the train, light rail, or one of many buses to the doorstep of the Holiday Market village (just like in Europe)!
You are invited to step into Germany for a day, and come enjoy this seasonal celebration!
