The Wines of Germany and Austria

Germany and Austria may be close in proximity, but they’re different in terms of wine styles, especially in terms of grape ripeness levels at the time of harvest. In this one, we’ll taste a host of cool-climate offerings such as Riesling, Gruner Veltliner, Pinot Noir and Blaufrankisch, while learning to de-code would-be confusing German and Austrian wine labels.
